Baby Bumps

At the request of Leigh Ann, one of my oldest and dearest friends, here is an updated baby bump shot. I have been taking them every week, mainly because of a pregnancy scrapbook I purchased called 'The Belly Book'. I specifically bought this book so it would force me to religiously take these pictures every week. I worried that if I didn't have something requiring me to take them, then I would forget about it and regret that I didn't take the time to document this wonderful experience so I could remember it forever.

Like I mentioned in my last post, I really feel like I'm really starting to pop. When I compare last Sunday's photo to the one I took yesterday, there is quite a difference. I was at the point where I had pretty much looked the same for about three weeks in a row. Not anymore! Maybe it's because I'm having a boy, but my belly is quite bigger than my friend Leslie, who is having a girl and is 3 1/2 weeks ahead of me! I'm also starting to notice the looks from strangers, which is much more weird than I had anticipated. I went to get Rob a Father's Day Starbucks yesterday morning, and the girl at the counter went from my eyes to my belly several times. She was probably judging me thinking that the triple grande nonfat latte I ordered was for me! Haha.

So, here I am yesterday, June 19th at 17 weeks, 2 days pregnant. This week I took a front view photo for the first time, since now I really feel I look pregnant from the side and the front. I'll keep posting updated photos as I feel I have 'expanded'!
