I had a friend post a link on my Facebook wall about a local photographer who needed a baby to model a few hats and in return, we would have a few professional shots to add to our never ending collection of picture of our Mr. Ronan. It was so fun! The hats were cute, and she put him in this adorable wagon...but let me tell ya, he did not care for that wagon. I don't blame him. He probably thought, "Mom, I'm too big for this!!!". He's just going through another leap and learning so much that it's hard for his little self to handle it. I feel so bad, but yet this photo is just a perfect combination of heart breaking & adorable.
I was finally able to jump around, sing and make a complete fool of myself long enough to keep him entertained and get him through the session with success! I personally think he makes an excellent model. That could just be my baby goggles, but I think he could make himself millions because he's perfect!
This kid is reaching more and more milestones each day. He now pulls himself up like he has always known how to do so. He's hilarious...he will crawl to the couch, his play table, or us, just to get the leverage to stand. That's all he wants to do these days! On Tuesday morning he was sitting patiently in his high chair waiting for his breakfast so I decided to make kissing noises and gestures while he waited. After a couple times, he did it right back! It's soo cute and sweet. He's also waving all the time, and seems to understand the concept of doing so when you see someone for the first time that day. His Mimi came over on Wednesday to watch him for a couple hours while we went out to eat for our anniversary and he waved and showed how he can give air kisses on command. It's awesome to watch his little brain absorb and learn more and more.
Ronan seems to be at yet another "Wonder Week" so it's been a little rough the last few days. He had a hard time sleeping last night and is also fighting naps and bedtime. We are taking him on a plane ride this weekend for the very first time and I hope he's able to handle it without too much difficulty. I would feel terrible if he is miserable the whole time. So, wish us luck! Enjoy the rest of the pictures from the photo shoot!
