I was telling my best friend this morning, it breaks my heart a little more every single day when I leave Ronan for work. Monday - Friday = survival mode. Which leaves Saturday and Sunday for my real quality time. It's just not enough. I am working on making the days longer, that's possible, right?! This kid just keeps getting better and better, which is probably the main source of my sadness. However, I still think he saves the good stuff for us, which makes those really hard week days worth it. :)
Last night, I had Ronan up in his room with me while I changed his sheets and folded his clean clothes. He was happily playing on the floor with his toys while I was about to prepare his bath. I looked down at him and he was in sort of a downward dog yoga position...then he stretched one leg straight out, like he was going to crawl! I got on the floor with him and with my encouragement, he was scooting towards one of his toys. It was so cool! It's only a matter of days before he is going to be fully mobile, I think. Good thing there is a sale on baby gates this week at Babies R Us.
I called for Rob and we were able to catch his third attempt at crawling on video. He was a little worn out at this point, but we'll have plenty more chances to catch this again soon enough!
UPDATE: Please excuse my talking to Ronan like he's a puppy! I need to figure out the best way to encourage his progress other than speaking like he's Fido, but for now it seems to work! :)
Awww so cute!!! These next few stages fly by before you know it they are walking then running and in our case climbing EVERYTHING. Enjoy your little man he is a doll!
